Why This Economy Could Enter a Great Depression in Two Months

Chris delivers an urgent, wide-ranging economic and geopolitical warning, arguing that escalating conflict in the Gulf, energy shortages, rising interest rates, and fragile debt markets could converge into a severe global financial crisis. He connects those risks to Japan’s rates, the unwind of leveraged investing, vulnerabilities in U.S. military and industrial capacity, weakening dollar influence, and the possibility of China increasing pressure on Taiwan. Throughout, he urges listeners to take the threat seriously and prepare for higher prices, tighter credit, and supply disruptions.
He closes on a more personal note, sharing how he is preparing through practical supplies, yoga, and efforts to support a local homeless shelter. He also talks about momentum in his tantric yoga work, gratitude for his mentor, and his intention to return to occult-focused episodes—especially a future series on angels—while continuing these economic updates.
All right.
SPEAKER_01Hey everyone. Welcome to another episode of Academia Obscura. I'm your host, Chris. Today I'm just going to be doing a quick update on all the economic news. I know previously I was doing occultism, but this program is pretty much just going to be whatever my autistic brain is spiraling on and heavily researching at any given moment. So I promise I would get back to the occult stuff and a whole lot more. But right now, all I could think about is the economy because it is all going according to the worst case scenario that I was looking at. So obviously, I know last time I talked, uh Kevin Walsh gave his Jackson Hole speech and basically reminded everyone that he is not Ben Vernanke. He is not Janet Yellen. He is not a dove that will just put a Fed put in to bail the markets out. He has been saying that he wants the markets to price risk correctly. And all of a sudden they are just now taking him seriously. So with the Fed uh signaling that they're going to raise rates in a couple of weeks, um really fun thing, the yield on the Japanese bond jumped all the way to 3% without the Bank of Japan doing anything. So the market is basically telling the Bank of Japan that they have lost control of doing their own job and the market's going to do it for them. That all but guarantees an aggressive rate hike by the Bank of Japan after the Federal Reserve has to goes and does the hike that they've been signaling middle of this month. Because guess what? The Iran war is not slowing down at all. People keep thinking Trump will back down uh the taco trade, right? And that Trump will give in, this whole thing will go away. They do not understand that A, Trump cannot back down because he already tried. The memorandum of understanding that they signed a few months ago that expired was basically Trump trying to back down and give them a white flag as best as he possibly could, and Iran saying no. Um, because to Iran, this is existential because they need to restore deterrence against the U.S. The U.S. and Israel went and carpet-bombed their economy, their military, and assassinated their supreme leader. And the only thing that they care about is making their country and their leadership safe again. In order to do that, they have to restore deterrence. To them, this is an existential fight for survival. And the market is not treating it like that. So after the memorandum uh came out, Trump literally cannot back down because Trump's whole political brand is the guy who wins. Uh him, the only thing he could possibly do is just to completely bail, lift sanctions, and have the U.S. military leave the leave the Gulf and give in to literally every single one of Iran's demands. He can't do that. Therefore, the strait is going to stay closed. And my money is actually that the strait stays closed through the end of Trump's presidency. Iran already did this with Jimmy Carter because Carter pissed them off over the Iran hostage crisis. And they literally just did whatever they had to do to make his life hell, i.e., keeping the hostages there until Reagan was sworn in. That's why literally the one of the first things Reagan did was make a phone call to Iran. And Iran's like, yeah, we just wanted to piss off and make Carter look bad and make sure he lost the election. So here's your hostages. We got what we wanted. So Iran is going, my my pick based off history, based off the politics, based off the actual human dynamics that no model is going to tell you, is that Iran endures all of this shit. They don't care. They will keep the strait closed through the end of Trump's presidency, um, because that is the deterrence and the warning that the regime will need in order to make sure that America never fucking tries this again with them. Uh it's it's existential for them, just like the Ukraine war is existential for Ukraine's existence as a state, right? This conflict and Iran like keeping the Gulf closed and shooting traffic is existential. And it is not mathematically possible for the U.S. to disable all of Iran's drones and missile launchers and speedboats. There are not enough missiles in the U.S. inventory. It is not a mathematical possibility. So, Strait of Hormuz, my prediction, is staying closed through the end of Trump's presidency. Um what that means also for coming into the rest of this month and early next month is that the energy crisis we're living in stays elevated. LNG and fertilizer are still not getting out. Uh, JP Morgan released a report this week already uh highlighting that, hey, the world's in for a massive famine because of all the fertilizer uh that's not getting out because the Strain of Hormuz is still closed. Because while everyone keeps talking, oh, oil can be moved over pipelines and moved to and redirected to other routes, um, they're not talking that LNG can't. LNG can't be moved via pipeline because of the technical constraints, and fertilizer needs to be moved over trucks, uh, which is a completely different logistical nightmare over in the Middle East. And if Iran really starts uh feeling like their grip on the Strait of Hormuz and the damage they're doing to the to the world economy isn't working, and the US keeps up its bombing campaign, they will just start bombing that infrastructure, right? This whole war is Iran restoring strategic deterrence. It they will do whatever they have to do to restore strategic deterrence. And nobody is pricing that in right now. It is remarkable how asleep the market is. So, uh also that's not calving into the fact that uh the Houthis and all the other rebels are starting to attack ships in the other routes as well, making like shipping insurance and all that stuff skyrocket. And there are not enough ships in the US Navy in order to compensate. And the joke that somehow NATO and our allies can help is that no one else has a fucking Navy, right? One of the ironies is that Trump is not wrong when he says Europe as a whole is not funding its own defense and pulling its own weight, right? Um, Europe, uh there are like only France and Britain really have a Navy anymore at this point that's even worth anything. And and I and I think like, don't quote me on this, but I think like uh France just has like one aircraft carrier and Britain just has a couple just because they just can't afford it. The rest of Europe just stopped funding it because they were covered by the Americans' nuclear umbrella and the Soviet Union collapsed, so there was really no threat to them whatsoever. And they just used their government budget to go and do social programs. Um, and then with the pandemic and all that stuff, they just kept taking taking on debt, which is why we're in a gigantic sovereign debt crisis. I'll talk about that in a bit. But Europe does not have the technological capability to bail us out, right? And they're not gonna risk their ships for an engagement that they didn't want, they were never consulted about, and for an administration that has done nothing but bash them over the head. But Europe's not completely responsible. The U.S. also made a concerted effort over decades to keep a stranglehold. The U.S. wanted the U.S. military industrial complex to just fund all of NATO. It's why Europe just buys all their missiles and ships and airplanes from us, right? Um, and we just can't produce that much of it, right? It's the whole reason we can't resupply. It takes something like six fucking years to make a single Tomahawk cruise missile. It's ridiculous because of how bad our supply chains are. Plus, we have no domestic shipbuilding industry in this country whatsoever. It's why our navy is lagging and why China actually has a bigger navy than us right now. Uh, and like the whole joint strike fighter was a fucking joke. Our next-gen airplane is like, personal opinion, worse than our last generation. That's why we're still flying the B-2 bomber and all the 70s shit, because we haven't made anything else. There was no foreign conflicts driving our innovation. So our entire defense industrial complex has just been able to sit on its ass and get lazy, jack up price, whatever, charge whatever prices it wants from the federal government, which the lawmakers, of course, will just pay. And you just leave us in a position where everyone's paying for really expensive, outdated, shitty shit. Yes, it's yes, it's the best in the world right now. But what when we're but when we're shooting like a couple of million-dollar Tomahawk cruise missile to shoot down a $10,000 Iranian drone, it does not matter how nice the shit is. The math does not work out. And no one understands that about American military power right now, of just how fat and bloated our the corporations have gotten just from raking like the government hand over fist. It does not matter how much money we throw at these defense companies because of how inefficient they are, right? It is an efficiency problem. And there's and there's a reckoning coming there. Um, so like I said, Europe didn't really invest in their military. The U.S. also strategically didn't kind of want them to. They just wanted them to invest in America protecting them because that was better for American military companies. Like Germany pays the U.S. to station troops there, just like South Korea pays the U.S. to station crews there. The U.S. just was fine with that arrangement until Donald Trump. Um and in exchange for the U.S. providing their security, the Europeans just didn't really fight us on any of the economic shit and just gave us pretty like most of what we wanted and just let us get away with sanctions around the world. Which now that we're backing out of security, that's all happening. Uh, there's a mass exodus of bullion uh from the New York Fed. Uh so a little bit of hindsight. Uh central banks for different governments, you uh keep a lot of different types of reserves, right? Because they have to guarantee their currency. Um, so they keep gold, other nations' currencies, silver, precious metals, bonds, like a whole mix of things. But a lot of but but a lot of times they parked it in the New York Fed, right, because that was considered the safest place in the world, right, to park your money. And that gave the New York Fed a lot of outsize influence. But with Trump just slapping sanctions left and right, throwing tariffs, um, they are all all these central banks are moving their bullion from the New York Fed to London in order to just make sure they have access to it and move it beyond the reach of your U.S. sanctions. This is a catastrophic move for US power because aside from the US military, right, which is already degraded, the bulk of US power in the world, soft power, comes from the US's ability to levy sanctions and cut people off from the US dollar or from their own money that's that's held in the Fed. And basically, through that, basically say you're cut off from the entire global financial system. The entire world is now hedging against the US and moving their money out beyond the reach of U.S. sanctions. U.S. soft power is declining rapidly, and no one is talking about this. This all loops into what's happening in the bond market. So, like I said, Japan's three-year, uh Japan's interest rate for the 10-year bond jumped to 3%. I had to double check what it's at right now. Uh, it's not looking good. But um that is spooking a lot of people because, like I said, when, like I've been talking about the previous episodes, when Japan and the central bank is forced to raise rates, that is going to unwind the yin carry trade. What was the yin carry trade again? It was because Japan had a deflationary problem for so many years. Japan had basically parked its interest rate at zero and literally went negative for a few years to force its companies and people to spend their money, right? That was it was a force move. What that meant was all these big hedge funds and big banks could then come to Japan, borrow money at 0% interest, right? Come back, trade that yen in for US dollars, and then invest that in usually high tech stocks. Right now, it's what's pop pop bubbling the uh AI boom, right? And the because of the way leverage works, they don't have to borrow it one for one. They can like there are there it's usually around like 20 to one, where they'll have like 20 like 20 times the amount of yen that one they can actually back, right, and leverage. And that's essentially it's essentially saying uh go to a bank and say and borrowing $20 and putting one dollar down as collateral, right? And the bank will let you do that if you're that big of a hedge fund and they believe you know what you're doing with the money. So they have borrowed like 20 or even up to a hundred times what they've put in collateral, right, in order to go fund these tech stocks. But when the rates end up getting raised through the market or when the bank of Japan cracks, then all of a sudden the margin call that they get a margin call. The banks say, Hey, um, you borrowed this at 20 to one. We need you to make that like 20 to 5, right? Um, or you and all of a sudden what happens to the tech funds is okay, we have to come up with that money. Let's go sell these AI stocks that we invested it in to get cash to then buy yen to then go meet the margin, right? Because they would they borrowed it uh in the Bank of Japan. So they have to come up with yen at the end of it. That's the whole point of raising race. It's it's forcing like financial like bloodlust to come back to Japan. That margin, because of how big this carry trade is, that uh that this is going to be known as like the great margin call and it's gonna be rolling. Um, at a time when the treasury yield is spiking, Kevin uh Bessant is just doing hedge fund tricks because he does not understand how to how sovereign debt works differently than hedge fund vibes. Uh thank you, Scott Besson. And with the uh and with the Cayman Islands repo market now like now being like the major supporter of the overnight trades, there's a recipe for a meltdown all right there.
SPEAKER_00And nobody is talking.
SPEAKER_01Because what happens when the bomb market melts down is number one, credit freezes, right? People are gonna wake up and number one, small businesses will not get loans, mortgage rates are going to skyrocket. There is then people, and there's gonna be one day where people wake up and just realize all their available credit lines for their credit cards have just been slashed or their accounts have just been closed because the banks don't have the leverage in order to lend anymore. And the entire debt-fueled economy that we have been running on pops. And this is all happening because there's no relief room, right? The Bank of Japan, because of where the market has already moved and because of the rate rates, they have to raise. If they don't raise after the market already does 3%, the market's just going to go crazy and doing for them. And also the fuel crisis, like I said, is not ending. Iran is not releasing the Strait of Horror moves, no matter what. The noise where the parliamentary president says, yeah, this isn't Iran's uh best interest, is noise because the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is what's in there. And when a military junta takes control of your government, the military junta requires existential crisis and attacks to maintain authority, which Trump, resuming bombing, just made just reinforces that the military junta that will strengthen that doesn't matter how many people starve and die because this is an existential struggle for survival, it just hardens their resolve anyway. So the oil shock isn't going to go away. Plus, the strategic oil reserves that the entire world has been tapping in order to hide the fact that there's an energy crisis from the population, those run out. Those run out uh toward the end of this month, early next month, um, and they're going to start running out in faces. So there's going to be a gigantic gasoline and fuels price hike across the board, hitting the entire world at once. The inflation will be astronomical. And this is happening, and this is just going to cascade into the bond market, into the credit crisis. It's all going to be a mess. Um Congress, however, because of the great timing. Oh, but first sorry. So, like I said, all this yin carry trade, also the data centers uh are not getting built. All of these crazy, stupid uh AI valuations that have funded this in this uh bubble of a stock market rise were all prefaced on a very aggressive data center build out, which has not been happening, right? Uh last time I checked, like a third of the planned data centers were actually under construction. All the rest have gotten canceled or are bogged down in delays, or they can't get chips for them. And so all these all this money that the AI uh companies promised their investors is not materializing. And that's gonna hit when you're unwinding the yin carry trade. Investors are being forced to pull their stuff out. Like the earnings calls and the projections this month and going into next month, I'm thinking, are really just gonna start popping this bubble and it's just gonna accelerate because it does not get easier once all the shit starts hitting the fan. So we're going to have gasoline prices spiking. We're going to have a credit market seizure because the sovereign bond market is seizing uh at the same time, all at the same time, right? And all of these things are going off right before, and the stock market about done, right before an election, right? The only thing that the government can really do to fix this is a TARP style, like just complete print money, right? Kevin Walsh isn't gonna do it, and Kevin Walsh can't, even if he wanted to, right? The amount of Kevin Walsh does not want to just buy unlimited government bonds, right? In in order, because if he does, that's just gonna make inflation worse. No one understands that Walsh cannot jump in and print the money that the f that would be required to fix this problem without just without raising inflation sky high right before an election, right? Which he's already said inflation is more important, just like Paul Volcker did. Kevin Warsh has said he wants to be Paul Volcker, which forced the country through a brutal recession in order to stabilize the dollar, right? Take him at his word, believe him when he says what he thinks. So the Fed is not can't, even if and even if Warsh wanted to, he can't without making inflation worse. So Congress could step in, but like I said, the only thing they could really do is TARP. Um TARP would is gonna be problematic for three different reasons, right? Number one, they would have to spend a whole bunch of money, which would just make inflation worse. Because the whole problem right now is inflation is sky high because of an energy crisis. If Congress starts printing money, then that makes it worse. Number two, they're borrowing into an environment with really high interest rates into a bomb market seizure. So the government is going to have a hard time even selling those bonds for a reasonable interest rate. And they're not, and the problem is they're not going to be able to really afford to do the scale of what they want to do. And number three, there is no way in hell Democrats are going to hand Donald Trump the blank check that they handed um George W. Bush uh the first time around. Because remember, TARP was passed under Bush and then just got handed to Obama, right? Pelosi, and I think it was it was Pelosi, Harry Reid, and I'm forgetting their Treasury Secretary and the federals. They all got in the room and said, okay, um, here's a problem. You all are competent. Like we know, here's the money, here's a blank check. Yes, there were problems with it. But TARP solved basically like prevented things from melting down and kept us going because there was enough trust that at least. The people running the shows were competent and fair dealers. There is no trust between the Democrats and anyone in the Republican administration that they are either a competent or fair dealers with all of the shady stuff that's been going on. Democrats and they're sure as hell not going to give the Trump administration a blank check right before an election. And after the Democrats win this, which I have them taking the House and the Senate majority, they're sure as hell not going to give them a blank check right before they come and take over the gavels of all the committees and can write the laws and basically dictate to Trump what he can do. So, and they're not going to get this through a Senate filibuster. There's not enough time to do reconciliation, even if there was, uh Mike Johnson in the House, because of the continuing Republican defections, um, like people getting sick, resigning, he can afford to lose one vote. Uh surprising fun fact on the Hill, um, the House, uh, there's a meltdown in the House Democratic caucus right now because two Democratic House members broke ranks and bailed uh Mike Johnson out by uh voting to pass a rule so that they could even take up their legislation. Because he Mike Johnson was already having trouble with his right flank, already refusing to let him do any business in the House of Representatives. So the Republican majority literally cannot do a damn thing. And because there's there's already too much infighting. They're not going to go alone and bail a solo and even try to pass a TARP bill right before an election because the optics are terrible. So Congress is deadlocked and it's just not going to do anything. Uh, I firmly expect Trump to break all sorts of norms to like figure out what the fuck he can do, which is just gonna make matters worse. Trump doesn't want to be Jimmy Carter. Trump doesn't want to be Hoover, but it's what you Hoover is what you get when you start throwing tariffs left and right and you cause an energy crisis and then keep it all going for two years. You know, it's kind of what you get to be. It's literally what happened with Hoover. Yeah. So everything, so the market and everything. I'm just seeing it's all just gonna freefall, and it's just gonna be just like in Hoover, where Republican president and Tasmanine Congress, nothing gets done until you get a Democratic president in there, and all this contagion just sits there. It it we're heading for Great Depression level territory in under two months, and no one is pricing that in. And let alone the fact that once that hits, this is China's once-in-a-century time to move on Taiwan. You know, China has been begging uh for, not begging, begging is the wrong word. China's whole national identity is recovering from the century of humiliation, right? President Xi and the Chinese Communist Party frame the US and British, well, mostly the British, uh forcing of uh of them opening the ports at Hong Kong and there's one other port in order to force opium into China, right? Because the Chinese banned opium because they're like, hey, these drugs are bad for our people. Why are you like selling opium into our country? We're gonna ban opium from the ports. And then the British literally took their military, fought a war against China, and forced them to let uh the British sell opium into the Chinese people. Imagine that. Okay. Imagine, like, say, for example, Mexican had Mexico had a build bigger military, they declared war on us and forced us to let them sell cocaine and meth into our borders. That is what Great Britain did to China. Uh it it it it is the singular event that caused the century of humiliation in Chinese in Chinese like history. Um uh that's what led them through the Chinese Civil War and all that stuff. With the U.S. number one having greatly diminished uh munitions capabilities, like I said, we've moved our only aircraft carrier out of the Pacific, with NATO having no ability to retaliate, with a political meltdown and an economic meltdown and an oil crisis with the U.S. having no energy reserves. The U.S. literally could not fight to defend Taiwan if we wanted to. Because China, and also for China, they're not spending munitions. They have a larger navy than us already. And no one's talking about this. China has not been dipping into its strategic reserves. In fact, the only reason oil prices have been stabilized is because China, because of the way they do centralized planning, literally cut their oil production basically overnight and just started stockpiling even more. China is sitting on like the world's greatest oil reserves right now, and they can just write out whatever happens while the U.S. doesn't. I don't foresee China actually firing a bullet or missiles into Taiwan. China's just gonna do a blockade. They're like, hey, US, you're doing a blockade on Iran. We're gonna do a blockade on Taiwan. And Taiwan is technically sovereign Chinese territory anyway. Y'all have been saying that for years. Y'all can't interfere uh with an internal uh Chinese affair, right? And Trump's literally not gonna have an option to do anything about it, even if he wanted to. Uh that causes a full-scale meltdown because number one, the AI bubble that wasn't popping, just the threat of the gray zone pressure, and the moment it starts actually hitting means that sh everything completely shatters. Because every single, every single chip that goes in that data center, in your smartphone, in computer, in every computer, every chip comes out of Taiwan because the capitalist like just-in-time supply chain said, oh, it is super efficient just to have this one hub in the world make this one thing, and completely ignored geopolitical risk. Because guess what? Uh, securing your supply chain is not the cheapest viable option. And when your entire economic system just optimizes for what's cheapest, then you hit problems because you didn't build in a redundancy. Um, Biden tried to address this with the CHIPS Act, which Trump then gutted. Uh, had he not done that, we'd be in a better position for it. Um, but basically, we're gonna wake up uh and just not be able to get chips for anything. And then China's gonna be basically holding Trump by the balls and say, hey, hey, you want chips? Hey, you want your medicines that you've been getting? Hey, you want all the shit we make for you? Start letting us dictate what we want. And Trump, and it's just that it's is it gonna be the reverse photo? You're gonna have a geriatric, uh, I don't know if Trump has Alzheimer's or dementia. He's he's clearly got one of the two, but it's gonna be uh Donald Trump just signing whatever the uh the uh the Chinese want in order to get it all done. And part of it is gonna be petro yen. Um, because like I said, that this is gonna go on. The Gulf states and their economy literally can't have this. The entire reason the Gulf allows the petrodollar to exist. But fun fact, the petrodollar, like I mentioned, it is the system by which uh the Gulf countries agree to price oil in dollars, thereby requiring every country in the world to buy dollars and buy U.S. treasuries in order to purchase oil. Uh, that is a huge benefit to the U.S. economy. Uh, and that and partly what makes it the reserve currency, is because you have to buy the most important commodity in the world in US dollars, right? It forces a giant like reserve capacity. That whole thing was premised on the U.S. guaranteeing security. The US is literally showing they cannot provide security, right? The US kicked the hornet's nest. And no matter how superior the US weapons are, right, no matter how many missiles the US shoots, the hornets are still singing and causing problems, right? There's gonna be a point where they're like, okay, the US may have nicer military tech. It is clearly not effective. However, no matter how nice it is, it is clearly not effective at solving the problem, right? Our economy is a meltdown. We have to sell oil, right? And China also happens to be the only global power that has leverage over both Iran and the U.S., okay, because China is what is what has been bailing Iran out with buying most of their oil, letting them dodge sanctions. Once this all goes down, China is gonna be able to broker the U.S. Iranian peace treaty um in exchange for pretty much Donald Trump's balls, is what it's gonna pay, because Trump will do anything to avoid being Hoover, including give away the kitchen sick, which is what he's gonna have to do. But all of that is not easy. And Donald Trump is it's I'm not sure Donald Trump is capable of that. Like I'm not literally sure that psychologically he is going, he is going to be willing to literally fall at his sword as the greatest failure and the man who literally threw lost the uh the American empire. Um I'm just not sure he can psychologically take it. And I'm not sure, and once that happens, he's just gonna go bad shit. And like I said, I personally give it a 50-50 chance that he just rages and tries to do some stuff and eventually gets impeached because even the remaining Republicans after the wipeout seem like, yeah, no, we have to get rid of this guy, or else like everything's lost. And then JD Vance might be the guy that goes and just signs everything away, or if Trump does it himself.
SPEAKER_00I'm at 50-50 on that.
SPEAKER_01Um but Trump literally, like psychologically, I don't know how he deals with that. Because it it it it completely destroys his entire self-concept. And all Trump is is one giant ego.
SPEAKER_00That's all he is, just one big ego with a very small penis.
SPEAKER_01Um like I said, yeah, and so far everything tracks um everything that has happened over the past month and a half since I posted that, every everything I've been looking at uh pretty much all this year, since February when I started tracking this and then telling my friends, hey, I think this is gonna hit. Hey, things are still getting bad. It's all tracking. And like, I really hope I'm wrong. Like I said, there's a lot of people that are gonna be hurting. Um, inflation's gonna suck. It's it's it's the Great Depression. Um, you know, jobs are gonna be wiped out, uh all the all the debt that's piling on. It's gonna actually be worse because in the Great Depression, there wasn't a global sovereign debt crisis, right? Because like I said, it after a crash, the government can't borrow because interest rates are too high. They can't, which means they can't spend, and they can't really tax because that just takes stuff out of the economy. Um, all the all the wealthy they would have taxed, all all that money was just speculative as part of a bubble and was wiped out. Sure, you can get some back, right? But not nearly as much as you would need to fund everything.
SPEAKER_00And it's just gonna be a very painful decade. And but it's what happens when the Roaring Twenties stopped, you know?
SPEAKER_01This is this was the Roaring Twenties, you know. We brought back flying high capitalism of just letting the robber barons do whatever they want, and the great Gaspies just throw in those glitzy parties, you know, and the rot just got in, and the trap is shutting. And that's the cycle of history, you know. The only downside is that the Herbert Hoover is rhyming with Jimmy Carter, with, like I said, the Suez analogy before. It's just with the Chinese turn. Like I said, this this is gonna be America's last decade, is what we're coming up with. So everyone, like if you're listening to this, like I said, it's not really worth saving money because inflation is gonna make the money you have not really worth that much. Um the best thing you can do right now is stock up on durable pantry goods, right? Go to Costco and buy bulk rice, right? Go to Jet Row or restaurant depot and buy bulk beans, right? Get Velveeta cheese, right? Stock up on long-held staples because it's gonna be Great Depression level territory. Um, money is not gonna go as far. It's gonna be scarce, and the entire supply chain is gonna wrap up. And computers and all these fancy electronics that keep us all going, they're just not gonna work because we're not gonna have the chips and we're not gonna have access to them to keep them all going, because we let all of our factories go to China and be dependent on them. And they are just gonna, and once we melt down, especially how much Trump has been pissing them off, and after the rest of the world is deleveraged against the dollar, this is just their time to make quiet moves that the US can't fight and like be the top dog in the world for a while.
SPEAKER_00Because of what uh capitalism did to this country, because it's cheaper, because it helps the stock price, because shareholder value increased. This is the shareholder value to Prussia. We're making America great again. Yeah. But like like I said, I I posted a story today.
SPEAKER_01Um, the silver lining to all of this is that I had like one of the best TFT games of my life today. Okay. I I I'm loving the new set. Uh I rolled uh I I super high rolled, right? And I got to the eight three-star solar, right? Which gave which meant my four-star kale just started goompostomping everything, and I got first. And getting first is a is is isn't like that big a deal. Like it happens. I'm a decent player, but like the odds of getting to the the four-star kale like are pretty low. And I was super happy that happened. Also, my yoga's doing great. Um so every everything everything's looking good. It's just trying to get ready to batten down and doing what I can. I'm meeting with a friend tomorrow who runs a homeless shelter to see what we can do. I really want to get in one really big fundraiser for him so he has some cash to bank and keep things going. Um, because that shelter is like it's the most important one in the city. It's in the gayborhood, is the only one that can actually treat like certain types of mental health because of how they do their room assignments. It is mission critical to this entire population. And I just want to help him get some money for it before all this shit hits.
SPEAKER_00And there's only like a month to do it. Uh so that's how I'm preparing.
SPEAKER_01Stocking up, uh, getting my yoga in, trying to keep myself chipper, and focusing on trying to shore up this homeless shelter because it needs to be there. And then uh my tantric yoga business is also like really starting to take off, thanks to Naraj. Um, going and working with him for the awakening retreat and now my 21-day awakening and having him show me like how to do Soma, how to mix music, like all that stuff. Like he's basically my guru now. Um he's like lighting the trails for everything and giving me the licensing and all the training I need to take everything I've been working on for the past year to the next level. Um, he's he's amazing. Um and so that's going really well. Uh, we'll see how this goes into the chopping part. Um I'm optimistic because Santa Muerte wouldn't have put me on this path unless there was a reason for it. And she's guided me this far and it's all worked out, so I'm just gonna keep going.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, I know that was a lot.
SPEAKER_01Um I didn't use AI to build the script or anything. I just sort of let it all run, the stream of consciousness. Um, I'll run this through and see if there's any fact checks that I overstated. Like I said, right now I was just going off of what I know and what I've been reading, because I read a lot of news all throughout the day from multiple sources. And like I go through The Economist, the Wall Street Journal, the BBC, The Guardian, CNN, um, and then a couple of other ones throughout the day as well, just to sort of make sure I understand what's going on from multiple different angles. Because every news source has some sort of bias, and you've got to read a bunch of different sources to get it. But also The Economist covers issues way different than the Wall Street Journal. Um, but when you put the two together, it's like, oh my God, this makes so much sense. So you really got to read both.
SPEAKER_00Uh yeah. Everything's tracking. Um like I said starts talking up.
SPEAKER_01Um, I hope I'm wrong. Right? A Great Depression is not fun.
SPEAKER_00Um the end of the American Infire is gonna be painful, but there's gonna be a lot of suffering. So much suffering.
SPEAKER_01But this is what we get as a country when you put shareholder profit and returns as your the number one most important thing for your society. And you do that for since the eighties. Really the seventies, so twenty, so fifty, sixty years. Yeah, when you spend a whole generation putting profit before people this is what you get.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. It's no one's fault. Well, it is some people's fault. Not the average person's fault. But they're the one's gonna get the most anything. And everyone's only just now starting to wake up to bits and pieces of it. And I've not seen anyone else online putting everything together. All right, that wraps it for this episode.
SPEAKER_01Um I'm gonna keep doing these economy economic updates. Um, I want to get back to doing some occult stuff because that's the fun stuff, right? That's all the hit that's all the hit stuff that the church lied about. Um, especially archangels, because there are so many more archangels than what the church tells you, right? I really want to talk about Azreel. Azreel's super cool and Metatron and Raphael, but more mostly Azrael and Metatron. I need to do an angel series. That's what I'll do next week. I'll start talking about angels. Because we're all gonna need some angels to help us get through this. All right. That's it for me. I'm Chris, and I will see y'all next week.
